Lord Haydock, a witty fellow @markhaydock5 I follow on ‘X’, posted he had been able to walk to his pub “four of the last five nights” without his walking stick. This after being told in rehab he’d be in a wheelchair.
Major victory for him.
I wished him well and mentioned I’d give almost anything for a pub to which I could walk. If you have ever spent any time in Britain you will understand. It’s a very civilized thing to do.l
I wondered what the Google with it’s vast knowledge might say if I asked for “pubs near me.”
This was the best it could do.
