My wife Joyce had wonderful care at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo during her recent kidney failure episode.
There are so many to thank. It’s difficult to find ways of expressing our gratitude. It’s not always easy to find or contact specific people such as a doctor, a nurse, or a nurse tech.
I was especially thankful for the girl at the nurse’s station on 4 South. When I discovered the downstairs Starbucks was closed, I discovered I could get free coffee at the nurse’s station! And, it was just as good maybe better, it was free! The smiles that came with the coffee were an added bonus. On a Friday, the young lady at the station, with a smile said, “You’ll have to train someone else, I’m off tomorrow!” So, I did.
Joyce decided to thank her Doctors, Dr. Esther and Dr. Saadaldin with a donation in their honor to St. Jude’s. I thought this graphic from a card on the St. Jude’s website was extra special. It was done by a young St. Jude’s patient.
Tenley has a close friend with an inoperable cancer who receives excellent care at St. Jude’s. They are a great organization.
Right up there with the Doctors are Joyce’s own personal medical team, her daughters Angela, Ashley, and Aspen. Thank you as well!
For those of you who helped us so much, Thank You!
