Good morning! The early morning temperature was just right so I could put on my shoes and socks outside on the patio before logging 1.68 on the golf course.
A beautiful, even damp smelling morning (how is that even possible when it hasn’t rained for years), then the night gradually became day.
It occurred to me to be thankful that God didn’t leave the earth “formless and void” and He divided the night from the day.
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” – Genesis 1:1-5
