Broken…

Courtesy of KJIL, the chorus of Casting Crowns’ No Scars In Heaven kept running through my mind as we drove toward Wichita.

In the society in which we live, it seems there is little that is not broken, families, relationships, genders, truth, our schools, our traditions and history, our churches, our government, our national security, our media, and ultimately ourselves.

With all the brokenness around us it’s sometimes hard to imagine there could be a time when “there’ll be no such thing as broken.”

Could it be true?

 Yes!

That’s the promise we have from scripture where the inspired writer says:  “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4

Such a time is coming.

And John in his Gospel (Good News) at Chapter 14 and verse 6 points the way: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)
