The predominate color of the surrounding grass at the Conway Springs (KS) Rodeo Ground is a dry and dusty brown. The predominate texture of the dead looking grass… is crunchy.
But, if you look carefully, occassionally you find these flowers. How do they survive in all this dead looking grass let alone have such a brilliant color, and tiny soft textured green leaves.
Is this one of Mother Nature’s ways of saying there is always hope?
