…a better understanding

Yesterday I was filing claims online with AFLAC. It’s always a bit troubling for me, especially when I haven’t done it for a while. The day before, I had filed two claims, they were accepted and paid so imagine my frustration when the exact same procedure no longer worked.

My frustration level always increases when there’s no one to call. The recommended chat seemed not to work. Finding finally a phone number, I called but no one was available to take my call, so the next best option was to schedule a call back for 12 pm. I did that.

What a pleasure when just after 12, Zyniya called me back. My problem had a fairly complex solution but Zyniya waded through it and explained the problem to my satisfaction.

As we finished our call, she said. “Sometimes we just need a better understanding.” I thought to myself, how many things in my life, besides filing AFLAC claims might that apply to.

Zyniya made my day.
